Passion for Promarkers & Friday Sketchers

Happy Tuesday to you all, so glad Monday is over......I hate Monday's & I had a big shift at work............not good!!!!!

Anyway onto this weeks Passion for Promarkers card, which I have to say I am not a happy bunny about, I made it on Sunday (although I had coloured the image a while back), I felt a bit under the weather, headache etc (which I now know was withdrawal symptoms from diet coke........how bad is that???), well I felt a distinct abscence of Mojo whilst putting this together, not one of my best cards!!!

Anyhoo, this weeks challenge was set by our Guest Designer Sam & is Cool Aqua & Apricot with the added challenge to make your own flowers.

The image is a Hanglar & Stanglar from my stamped images I have been sent (don't know her name). She is coloured in Promarkers as follows:

Blush, dusky pink, pastel pink, apricot, pumpkin, cool aqua, cinnamon, cocoa & Sandstone

The paper, ribbon & sentiment are stampin up, my flowers were made with the large & medium retro punches

The layout is Friday Sketchers, i will use this one again.

Hobbycraft celebration candy

You may think i am mad and you are probably right but i am offering a pack of 5 Promarkers to celebrate the opening of Solihull Hobbycraft. This monster Superstore has opened within walking distance from me.............yes within walking distance!!!

I visited yesterday and stocked up on Tulle & flowers & treated myself to a pad of DCWV papers - the Travel stack..............for stroking of course.............although you may see 1 sheet appear on a card...LOL

Happy birthday to my mom

Passion for Promarkers - Anything but a card

This weeks at Passion for Promarkers our guest designer Sarah B has chosen the colours Emerald & Marine with an additional challenge to create 'anything but a card'!!!!

I have a friend at work that is having a tough time at the moment & really needs a bit of fairy magic so I set about making her a post it note holder for her desk, instructions here

I stamped my Ketto image available from the Stampeezee bricks & mortar shop (not online) onto Stampin Up Whisper white card stock layered onto SU Pumkin Pie & Taken with Teal cardstock & coloured with Orange, Emerald, Marine, & Blush Promarkers.

I have added stickles to her hair & a gem to her wand, the flower is Prima

I gave it to my friend yesterday, she was over the moon, I might do some more of these, they would make fab gifts for teachers.

I have used a swiss pixie digi download printed onto Stampin Up Whisper white cardstock (Hewlett Packard printer used - ink fantastic with PM's), she has been coloured with new & old PM's as follows:

Hair: Cocoa & walnut (New)
Face: Blush, Dusky pink, pastel pink
Skirt & boots: Burgundy (New) & Crimson (New)
Top: Pumpkin & Amber (New)

The DP is Basic Grey Indian Summer & punch is Martha Stewart Embossed Zig Zag both available from Stampeezee, the sentiment was cut out with a nestie tag die

PFP Blog hop tomorrow!!!!!!

The new Promarkers are about to hit the shops, the DT have been lucky enough to get our hands on a set each to play with beforehand..............soooooooooooo to celebrate the new colours we are having a blog hop starting tomorrow at 10am on the Passion for Promarkers Blog, the DT will be showing off some creations using the new colours and we have prizes on offer!!!!

Tuesday rolls around so fast and with it comes the Passion for Promarker challenge & this week Caroline has chosen the colours 'Sandstone & Blue pearl'

Our sponser this week is the Digistamp Boutique who are offering £10 to spend in the online store, they have some fab designs, the design team were allowed a digi image of their choice from the yummy selection to use this week . I chose 'Chloe with Snowball', how cute is she??? I know I will be using her again for some of my xmas cards.

The paper is from my stash to which I added faux stiching around the edge. The snowflakes were created with nestie dies & the sentiment Little merry is by Stampendous

Passion for Promarkers

Boo hoo I am back at work today after some yummy time off, no more hols to look forward to until October now when I will grab a few days to visit my lovely in-laws in Scotland, anyway looking on the bright side it's time for Passion for Promarkers again & Caryn has chosen the theme 'glittery & girly', I just had to use my new Diana Duda image sent to me by my blogging pal Andie, thanks sweetie........she is so cute that I jumped straight on the Funky Kits website & order her.......LOL.........Andie is to blame!!!!!

I used MME Laundry line papers from Stampeezee matted onto SU cardstock. I added faux stitching & Tulle................got a thing about Tulle at the moment!!!!! The sentiment is a Tim Holtz adage ticket & the flower was created with retro punches & button & more Tulle.
