Passion for Promarkers - For a Teenager

Howdy bloggers, I'm back at last!!!

Florida was fab and super hot and yes I found craft shops thanks to the lovely girls on Splitcoaststampers pointing me in the right direction. Hubby spoiled me rotten as usual and I came back with lots of copics, scrapbook papers, dies, embellishments and lots of stamps, I managed to get to Michaels, Hobby Lobby and Jo-annes, I would have loved to have gone to a dedicated stamping shop but I think I may have been pushing my luck......LOL
I just need to find the time to use it all now!!!

Anyway, this week over at Passion for Promarkers we want to see the theme 'For a Teenager'. I dusted off an old greeting farm stamp 'Edward', (in stock here) I forgot how much fun these guys are, I must ink up the others!!!

I teamed Edward up with some papers from my Basic Grey 'Oliver' pad, available here and coloured him in the following Promarkers:

Cool grey, 1, 3, 4, 5, warm grey 5, dusky pink, blush, pastel pink, sandstone, Ivory, Burgundy, crimson and my trusty blender, all the Promarkers I have used are in stock here

I kept the card simple, the sentiment is from the Free spirit sentiments set by Waltzing Mouse stamps, such a versatile set of sentiments!!! I added a some wonky stitching the the card to add interest.....LOL, I don't think I will ever master the sewing machine, it seems to have a mind of its own!!!

Hope you can join us this week

Passion for Promarkers

Passion for Promarkers time again and this week and Tracy has chosen the theme fantasy/mythology, I have just love that theme, the DT have some fab projects to inspire you, check them out here

I chose to use Mermaid Anya (in stock here) I have had her ages and I don't think I have ever used her before but that's not really unusual for me!!!

I coloured her in the following Promarkers, all available here:

Skin: Blush, Dusky Pink, Pastel Pink

Hair: Burnt Sienna, cocoa & caramel

Bikini top: cocktail pink, baby pink, pale pink

Tail: Bright green, meadow green

The fabulous swirl is from the Tim Holtz Elegant Flourishes Bigz Sizzix die, you get 2 swirls on the die, this is the smaller of the 2, I got mine here, Deb still has some in stock as she has just had a new delivery, be quick though they won't hang about for long!!

The fab papers I have used are Euphoria by Basic Grey, still available here and co-incidently Stampeezee have based their kit of the month on this very collection, check it out here

The border was created with an EK Success punch, the flowers are from my stash and the sentiment is from one of Amy Rysay's collections punch out with my new Stampin Up modern label punch. I just love the sentiment, I get more and more like Dori from Finding Nemo every day!!!! My memory is awful these days, I am suprised I remember my way home of an evening!!!

Anyway, have a great week peeps, I will be working and running as usual, the half marathon is now only weeks away and I am only up to 7 miles, I best get cracking eh!!! I have lost 8lb in weight since I started though so it's all worth it to me, makes me feel better about myself and elevates my mood!!

Another CASE

Happy Valentines day to you all, hope cupid got his aim right for you!!! My hubby is such a romantic, he has gone off roading with his pals today....LOL. I don't mind, I am not a romantic person myself, so he is forgiven.

Anyway forgive me for being such a copy cat with the last 2 cards I have posted but sometimes I like to just make a card without having to think for myself!! I could not resist CASEing this card from the fab Maria Bell, Maria has hundreds of wonderful cards on her blog...............I would love to CASE them all!!!!!

Anyway, I changed a few subtle things, such as added a button to the bow & used Basic grey backing paper as I did not have the one Maria used...LOL.... I have inked up my poor neglected GF stamps at last, they are sooooooo sweet.

Anyway, I best get the housework done, got loads to do today!!

Good day blogging pals...........another Passion for Promarkers challenge is upon us & this week our Guest DT Barbara has chosen the colours Marsh Green & Burnt Umber, I immediately decided to ink up my Greeting Farm Peter Pan that I have had for months & never used.

These colours look fantastic with the Archaic papers from Basic Grey, I used the following Promarkers to colour Peter:

Blush, pastel pink, dusky pink, burnt umber, sandstone, caramel, cinnamon & blender

The sentiment is from the same set as Peter Pan........'never ever' & has been punched out with the Stampin Up word window punch & layered on to the SU Oval & scallop oval shapes.

Passion for Promarkers & Friday Sketchers

Time for Passion for Promarkers again & this week and Helen has chosen the colours Gold & Ruby with the extra challemge to include jewles and gems on your cards, so get your bling & promarkers out and get creating!!!!!!

We are being sponsered by Emerald crafts who are giving our randomly gebnerated winner £10 to spend on their fab site.

This week I have used the fabby sketch from Friday Sketchers, I love it and will be using it again for sure. My image is Dahalia from the Greeting Farm and I thought the new June Bug Paper from Basic Grey matched perfect with this weeks colours..................I got them from Stampeeze, they are getting new stock every week and I want it all mwaaaaaaahhhhhhhh.

The sentiment is Hero arts and the flowers are Flora Doodles again both from Stampeezee, the punched flowers beind them have been created with 2 different sized Sakura punches. The card & ribbon is Stampin Up........can you tell??? It co-ordinates perfectly!!!!

Dahalia was of course coloured with Promarkers as follows:

Hair - cool grey 1-5
Skin - Blush, Dusky Pink
Clothes - Ruby, Maroon & Gold

I added my bling with gold stickles & bling dots from stash

Passion for Promarkers Challenge

Time for another challenge at Passion for Promarkers and this week we want to see you use Lemon & Meadow green on your cards.

This week we are lucky to be sponsered by Angel Crafts who are offering a prize of £10 to the winner drawn at random, click here to see what you could be spending it on.

Ok so to my card.........when I saw this colour combo my Magnolia Tilda with Sunflower popped into my head but I had awful trouble finding matching paper........having a real mojo dilema this week............some cards just instantly work for me but i am a little dissapointed with this one.

I eventually found a DCWV Glitter stack pad in my stash......unopened and found thisflowery DP in the challenge colours. I teamed it with SU Cardstock & Ribbon & decorated it with sunflowers from my stash. The sentiment is from the Greeting Farm Hope & Grace stamp set I picked up from Stampeezee on Saturday....just love the sentiments in this pack. I stamped it in SU chocolate brown Ink & punched & layered it with the new SU oval punches.

I used the following Promarkers to colour her:

Hair: Sandstone, Cocoa & Cinnamon
Clothes: Lemon, canary & pastel yellow
Face: Ivory, Blush & Dusky Pink

Passion for Promarkers Challenge week 4

It's week 3 already of Passion for Promarkers & this week we are lucky to be sponsered by Whimsy Stamps & the prize on offer is this fab Princess Emma stamp. To be in with a chance of winning her, just create a card using Gina's chosen colours of Berry Red & Royal Blue & the winner will be chosen at random next Tuesday.......and don't forget you can combine our challenge with others......so get ya Promarkers out!!!!

I found this one a real toughie, I only had one suitable DSP from the DCWV All about Boys stack & thought of my Greeting Farm Skater Ian straight away. I used a Sizzix thin cuts die to create the Boy's Zone sign which my Cuttlebug struggled to cut properly. The star was punched using an SU punch & i finished the card off with brads and distressed it a little.....................nothing is safe from either faux stitching or my Tim Holz distresser at the moment!!!!

C4E Sketch challenge 34 & CCT #62

The super talented Michelle of C4E has done it again this week with another super sketch for us all to follow, there is also an the option to use purple/lilac on the card so I had no choice but to drag out my favourite Basic Grey Wisteria DP and as always Stampin Up had the perfect cardstock to co-ordinate with it so i chose Perfect Plum & So Saffron.

The image is Geisha Girl Anya by The Greeting Farm sent to me by my Blogging pal Andie (thanks Hunni), she has been stamped onto SU Whisper white card with Black Impress Ink & coloured with promarker as follows:
  • Face: Ivory, Blush & Dusky Pink
  • Hair: Warm grey 1,2 & 3
  • Clothes & Hair flower: Primrose, Pastel Yellow, Aubergine, Amethyst & Lilac, pastel blue & Cornflower.
  • I outlined her in Pastel blue
Her hair flower is decorated with purple Stickles & finished off with a purple bling dot from stash and the CCT theme this week is 'Bling' so i have entered the card into that challenge to.

The flowers are Prima and their centres are from my stash, the sentiment is Inkadinkado stamped with SU Elegant Eggplant.
I cut out my large circle with my Cricut and Plantin Schoolbook cartridge & Anya was cut out with my Rectangle nesties and Cuttlebug.

Well the sun is shining here so I am off out into my garden to help my son who is trying to make our overgrown garden look pretty.........why did I let all those weeds grow!!!!!!!!

Have a great day & don't forget to leave a comment to let me know you stopped by as I love reading them.

For my card I have used summer cool strawberry sorbet DP by Imaginisce and a Miss Anya stamp all available from here, the sentiment is Stampin Up from the One of a Kind set and the card & ribbon are Tempting Turquiose also by SU.....all available from me.

The flowers were punched out of co-ordinating cardstock & DP and i inked and curled the edges, I then finished them with bling dots available in loads of different colours from Stampeezee.
