Passion for Promarkers Christmas Extravaganza

Good morning crafters, we hope you are surviving the very cold weather we’re having at the moment. It’s definitely the perfect weather for staying indoors and crafting!! If unfortunately you do have to venture outside, like me, make sure you wrap up warm and take care on the icy roads and pavements!

We would like to stay a massive thank you for all your support for our blog hop and special challenge over the past 2 weeks. It has been wonderful to visit all your blogs and see the fantastic talent and creativity around in blogland! You certainly made it a blog hop to remember. Please check back later this evening to find out if you are one of our lucky winners. As we stated at the start of the challenge we unfortunately won’t be choosing any top 5 passionista as we will be too busy sorting out all the prize winners – I’m sure you’ll understand.

Following on from our blog hop & special challenge we now have a Mega Christmas challenge for you which will last until January 4th 2011. I’m sure you’ll agree that the design team deserve a little break to catch up on their last minute gifts and cards. However to make up for the lack of challenges we again have some magnificent prizes up for grabs.

Our theme for the Mega Christmas challenge is a nice easy one “anything goes”, just remember to use your promarkers or aqua markers to be eligible for our prizes. Don’t forget you can enter as many times as you like and combine with any other challenges.

So now for the exciting bit – the prizes!

Letraset are generously offering a set of 40 promarkers in specific craft colours stored in two promarker wallets – fab eh!

Wowzers, I am sure you will agree that is a fab line up of prizes so get your PM'S at the ready, pop by the PFP blog for some inspiration and get creating to be in with a chance!!

Here is my card, I used a fab Elzybells stamp as the main image and the sentiment is also by Elzybells, first time these have seen ink.......i will use all my stamps eventually...LOL

The DSP is Imaginisce Polar Expressions Frosted Forest, the little flecks of snow are glittered, this is last years paper, not sure if it is still available.

The Nesties I have used are called Lacey Circles and are available here at Stampeezee. For the snow I used Twinklets Diamond Dust, had that over 12 months and only just opened it....how rubbish am i??

Of course I coloured the image with Promarkers

Hope you can join in the fun, I am looking forward to seeing all your fab creations

Thanks for looking, please feel free to leave a comment as I love reading them.

Baby Baby

Happy Sunday everyone, hope everyone is well in blogland!

I am pleased to say my brother is recovering well from his heart attack and finds himself now having to make big lifestyle changes! Mainly diet and reducing the amount of hours he puts in at work as seemingly working long hours and not resting/sleeping enough does not give the body enough time to break down the bad fats!!

I will be cutting down on the bad stuff I eat now as this has scared me!!

Anyway on a brighter note I have made 2 cards!! Woo hoo. I am trying to use all my unloved, unused stamps to make at least 2 cards each with them and although I should be making christmas cards, I have to make what my mojo wants to make and last night it was baby cards!!!

I made 2 cards using an Elzybell's baby image and a Hero Arts stamp, the DP is from my stash and the punch is Martha Stewarts Doily

I am going to make these in Pink and lemon so I have cards for a girl and an either or, I am trying build up my go to card stash so I am creating some simple designs that I can make in a jiffy, although saying that I decoupaged the sling and baby's head which took a little extra time!

I am also making myself finish off the insides with inserts etc and pop them into cello bags with envies, I have made loads of cards in the past and they end up all crushed and bent so I am trying to be good!!!

The little bit of colouring was done with Promarkers, Blush, dusky pink and pastel Pink, all available from Stampeezee.

Anyhow, I am off to my sisters house, she is cooking us Sunday lunch today...woo hoo, my 2 year old fridge (just out of WA) finally had to be switched off as it was giving off a burning smell so all my food is either in the bin or in other peoples fridges/freezers!! Can't believe it has died already after I paid £1300 for it!!!!

Anyway, have a great day

Passion for Promarkers Buttons & Bows

Tuesday rolls around so quickly & along with it comes Passion for Promarkers, this week Sue wants us to use buttons & Bows on our cards. I decided a baby card was in order for this challenge so I inked up a rather neglected Elzybells stamp I have had collecting dust for a while, such a cute stamp, I do like Elzybells products, I must get more!!!!

The paper is Imaginecse & the ribbon & button are from my stash. I am not sure where I have seen this layout before but it was defo on someone's blog........if it's yours let me know so I can give you proper credit.

Hope you have a great day, I will be working.....Yawn
