Colour Create challenge #16 & ILWS swap

This little flower pot has had me up until all hours for the past few nights!!!! I have made 10 of these little cuties for a card swap over on ILWS, where the theme is May Flowers everywhere and I have left it until the last minute...............Far too much decoupage involved for a rush job!!! Still got a little bit more assembly to do.....LOL. I got the idea for the little flowerpot from Stephanie Luman's blog, check it out here

The colours I choose for the card were from this weeks colour create challenge which is Sky blue, tan & ecru (I know I have used more of a brown colour but I saw some of the DT had used slightly darker brown's).

I left the card blank for any message.

Goodies used:

• Stamps: Best Yet & Playful Petals
• DP: Chocolate chip DSP
• Cardstock: Close to cocoa, Bashful Blue, Very Vanilla, Whisper white
• Ribbon: Very vanilla 1/4" grosgrain
• Accessories: Soft subtle brads, linen thread, the flowers have been decorated with dazzling diamonds glitter but the camera does not pick it up that well.
• Tools: fiskars cutter/scoring tool, small & large tag punch

Birthday flowers

Another card created for a triple challenge, not one of my best I have to say..........I seem to have lost my creative mojo this week!!!

The sketch is for sketch & stash challenge #13 and in addition you have to use new or neglected stash, for which i have used 2 stamps i have never used before. The colour scheme is following the colour create challenge 'peach & aqua', I really struggled with this one & finally the secret Crafter challenge is to create a card with a spring theme........hope this one passes.

I created this card with the following materials:

• Stamps - Sarah Kay -spring blossoms & Hero arts birthday stamp from birthday pack
• Cardstock - Coredinations
• Accesories - brads, ribbon, stickles glitter glue
• Colouring medium - Tim Holtz distress inks & Lyra aquacolours
• Equipment - cuttlebug & oval nesties, cricut & Accent essentials cartridge for flourish
