Passion for Promarkers

Hi bloggers, hope you are all well!!

Welcome to another Passion for Promarkers challenge and this week we want to see 2 of something on your creations!!

I have used 2 stamps on my creation and i thought the theme of wedding 'two become one' was also quite apt for the theme!!

I used old Stampendous stamps that I have never used before, I am trying to use all my stamps at least once......I am not doing too well, I buy them faster than I use them and I just can't seem to stop!!!

The DSP is from a wedding themed making memories paper pack I got from Hobbycraft last year, I think it is still available.

I coloured the happy couple in Promarkers and dabbed some stickles on the brides dress, every bride needs a bit of bling right???

Hope you like my card, pop over to the PFP blog as team 1 and team 2 have joined forces this week and there are some stunning samples for your inspiration!!

Thanks for looking, please feel free to leave a comment as I love reading them.

Passion for Promarkers - For a Teenager

Howdy bloggers, I'm back at last!!!

Florida was fab and super hot and yes I found craft shops thanks to the lovely girls on Splitcoaststampers pointing me in the right direction. Hubby spoiled me rotten as usual and I came back with lots of copics, scrapbook papers, dies, embellishments and lots of stamps, I managed to get to Michaels, Hobby Lobby and Jo-annes, I would have loved to have gone to a dedicated stamping shop but I think I may have been pushing my luck......LOL
I just need to find the time to use it all now!!!

Anyway, this week over at Passion for Promarkers we want to see the theme 'For a Teenager'. I dusted off an old greeting farm stamp 'Edward', (in stock here) I forgot how much fun these guys are, I must ink up the others!!!

I teamed Edward up with some papers from my Basic Grey 'Oliver' pad, available here and coloured him in the following Promarkers:

Cool grey, 1, 3, 4, 5, warm grey 5, dusky pink, blush, pastel pink, sandstone, Ivory, Burgundy, crimson and my trusty blender, all the Promarkers I have used are in stock here

I kept the card simple, the sentiment is from the Free spirit sentiments set by Waltzing Mouse stamps, such a versatile set of sentiments!!! I added a some wonky stitching the the card to add interest.....LOL, I don't think I will ever master the sewing machine, it seems to have a mind of its own!!!

Hope you can join us this week

Thanks for looking, please feel free to leave a comment as I love reading them.

Passion for Promarkers - WOW

Hi bloggers, this is a scheduled post as I am still in Florida, hopefully enjoying the sunshine and spending quality time with my family and friends, (hope I have found the craft shops by now :0)

I had to make this card well in advance..........I don't do advance......I am a last minute.com kind of gal, this is a first for me....LOL

Anyway, this week at Passion for Promarkers the challenge is WOW (White on white), hope i got it right as I have never made a WOW card before!!!

My big sis asked me to make a baby card for a friend who has just had a baby girl on her last IVF attempt, I turned to this adorable Penny black stamp, 'Baby Hammock' that I have to tell you is the second time I have used this stamp..........that is a record for me....LOL, it makes such cute baby cards, well worth having in your stamp collection!!

I coloured Baby Hammock in the following Promarkers:

Lemon, Sunflower, cerise, pale pink, dusky pink, pastel pink, china blue, cinnamon, tan, cool grey 1, warm grey 3 and pastel blue, leaf green, forest green and blender

The border around the card was created with my Martha Stewart Doily Lace punch and I used the cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder for the embossed panel. The circle I stamped my image on and the frame around it are a Marianne design creatables set I got from Stampeezee, I love this set!!!

The ribbon is Seam Binding from Stampeezee, available here

I hope you like my card and would love you to leave a comment, I will visit you back when I return from my hols, no internet for me in Florida, hubby has banned it....LOL

Passion for Promarkers - Food & Drink

Hi bloggers, hope you all had a great weekend, it's Passion for Promarkers time again and this week Denise has chosen the theme 'Food & Drink', so we need to see something food or drink related, or both.....simples!!

As soon as I saw this weeks challenge I knew that I wanted to use Birthday Flopsey from My Favourite Things, available here at Stampeezee, as you can see Flopsey's ears would not fit in my nestie so I made it so they stuck out, love that technique!!

I have got a bit addicted to MFT lately as Stampeezee are now stocking more of their fab products!! The border was created with the MFT open scallop die available here

The layout for my card is last weeks Mojo Monday sketch, I am a day late so I can't enter the challenge but I liked the sketch anyway.

I coloured Flopsey with the following Promarkers:

Pastel blue, pastel pink, Turquoise, cool aqua, Umber, Cinnamon, Sandstone, Gold, Tan & Blender

The sentiment is from the same set as Flopsey, you get the Flopsey and 3 sentiments, Bargain!!!

My papers are Basic Grey Hopscotch in Stock
here

Anyway, I hope you like my card, thanks for stopping by, please feel free to leave a comment as I love reading them and I will know you have popped in and will stop by your place.x

Passion for Promarkers - Sugar Rush

Hi bloggers, hope you are all well, another week gone by and time again for Passion for Promarkers, this week Vix has chosen the theme 'Sugar Rush', I have gone for cute & girly.

I chose to use a cute image from La La Land Crafts, Ballarina Marci, some of this adoarable range will soon be available at Stampeezee....can't wait, they have some cute images!!

I made a trinket box using the tutorial I used last year from Kirsten's blog, hubby converted it to metric for me, details on this post here

The layout is from this weeks Friday Sketchers, fab sketch by Claudia

This is the view at the back, I used a Whimsy Stamp from the handmade letter seals set, in stock here at Stampeezee, I cut the image out with nesties

Look at the sentiment I used, it is perfect for this image. It is from a set called Sweet Spring Jolinne available here at Stampeezee, I stamped it in Rich Cocoa Memento.

The nesting die set I used for the sentiment is by Die-namics from MFT also from Stampeezee and should be back in stock any day now, I had the last one...isn't it just fab?? Check out the other MFT dies Debbie has in stock, they are fantastic.

Check out the pearls in Marci's hair below, they are by Stampin Up, they are tiny, love them, they come in a pack of all different sizes, I got mine from the lovely Rach

I also decoupaged her flower and skirt.......how adorable!!

I coloured my image in the following PM's:

Cerise, Baby Pink, Pale pink, Leaf green, Blush, Dusky pink, Pastel Pink, Cinnamon, Umber, Cool grey 1 & 2 and the blender.

I used papers from the Lost & Found collection from My Minds Eye, they have the range in Stock in Hobbycraft at the moment, bit pricey though!!! The cardstock is Stampin Up Chocolate Chip, I used my last few sheets on this project!!

The ribbon I used is seam binding available in 20 colours here at Stampeezee

Not sure if you can tell from the pics but I went a bit mad with the crystal stickles!!

My card also qualifies for the DYSU challenge which is 'anything goes' and I have entered my project into the La La Land Crafts very own Gallery for March.

Thanks for looking please feel free to leave a comment as I love reading them.

Yes, I chose to use another Pink cat Studio image, I cannot resist them and when I saw this I just had to have it, don't ya just think those Dino's are the cutest?? It also gave me an excuse to use my new Whimsy balloon stamps and dies....how cool are they?

The close up: Awww, adorable!!

I coloured these cuties with the following Promarkers:

Pastel blue, Pumpkin, Forest Green, Amber, Bright green, Duck egg, Turquoise & blender........don't forget Promarkers are all available individually here at Stampeezee.

I added some faux stitching for interest, the star was created with Stampin Up's star punch and the papers are Imaginisce B-day bash It's a party & suprise, in stock here at Stampeezee

Passion for Promarkers Challenge 85 Inspiration

Hiya Bloggers, Passion for Promarkers time again....Yay!! This week Ida has given us a picture to use for inspiration, first thing I thought of doing was an image with clouds in the background, then I changed my mind and used the colours instead!!!!

Yes, I left my card making until the last minute again, I just don't seem to have any time to play these days, I spend 2-3 hrs a day travelling to and from my FT job so by the time I get home, get the house jobs done etc, the nights are gone!!! I am soooooooo tired!!!

Anyway, enough of my Waffling on, here is my card:

I used a LOTV image I got at the NEC in November, yes it is the first time this one has seen ink, the sentiment is from Stampin Up's Circle of Friendship Set as is the border punch I used. I coloured the image with Promarkers as follows:

Dusky Pink, Blush, Pastel Pink, Denim blue, Pastel blue, sandstone, cocoa, caramel, apple, meadow green, cool grey, 1, 3 & 5, ice grey 1, pastel yellow & blender

I hope you like my card enough to leave a comment

Passion for Promarkers - Let it Shine (Sparkle)

Hi Bloggers, hope you are all well!!

Sorry another week has gone by without a post but I am finding it really hard to find time for myself these days, so much to do and so little time!!!

Anyway, this week at Passion for Promarkers we have the theme 'Let it Shine (Sparkle)', so get out the bling, glittered papers & glamour dust and get creating!

I chose to make a Valentine card this week and when I saw this Digi from Pink Cat Studio 'Blobby In love' I knew he would be perfect for this weeks challenge.

Not sure if you can tell but I have glamour dusted the hearts on the image, & used some glittered papers by Imaginesce. The hearts were cut from an old christmas DCWV stack using my Cuttlebug Concentric hearts die, love this die, first time I have used it. I believe it is discontinued now, I got mine from Ebay.

I had a go with my sewing machine on this card........yeah I know it's crooked but come on It's only my 2nd attempt, and they say practice makes perfect right??? Ahem, so I need a fair bit of practice....LOL

Cute Blobby was coloured with Promarkers in the following colours:

Pastel Blue, Denim Blue, Ruby, Ice grey 1, Cerise & Baby Pink
Hope you like my card
Have a great week, thanks for looking, please feel free to leave a comment as I love reading them.

Passion for Promarkers & Penny Black

Hi bloggers, hope you are all ok, I have been a busy bee this past week trying to get organised!!! I have started with the finances, doing all that switching electric/gas providers etc, suprising how long it takes to sort out all that paperwork that accumulates over the year!!

The overtime ban at work has also been lifted to clear a backlog so I have been getting the extra pennies whilst it's available, so I have had very little crafting time again but I have made my Passion for Promarkers card this week, I could not resist this weeks challenge which is a 'Baby theme' my favourite!!!

It also gave me a chance to use my new Penny Black stamp I got from The NEC in November, another stamp crossed off my very long list of 'stamps still to be used' Another reason for using this particular stamp was so that I can enter this week's Penny Black challenge 'New Beginings', I will have to link up my card when I get home from work as this is a scheduled post.

Anyway here is my card:

I decided to make a card with my Nesties, these cards come out so small & cute, love em!!

Here's the close up:

Not sure if you can tell but I used seed beads for the flowers centres, totally forgot I had them. The little tag is a Stampin up set 'Tiny Tags' and co-ordinating punch, again something I have never used before, I know I am bad!!!

The cute image was coloured with Promarkers as follows: Dusky Pink, pastel Pink, Blush, cerise, baby pink, pale pink, leaf green, ice grey 1 & 3, cinnamon, Tan & Blender

I really hope you can join us this week

Our sponser is the fab Joanna sheen who is offering the winner a £10 voucher to spend on her fab website

Hope you like my card, please feel free to leave a comment so I know you have been

Passion for Promarkers challenge 81

Happy 2011 to you all, I hope you all had a great holiday. I managed to to catch the flu bug a few days before christmas and I still have the tail end of a cough, seems most people have been poorly at some stage over the christmas period, some nasty bugs going about!!!

On the bright side, my in-laws came to visit from Scotland, my mother in law is Lil-Daffodil, you may have noticed her about on your travels!! It was lovely to see them both and we got to do a little craft shopping and even made a few bits!

Santa kindly bought hubby an I Mac so I can upload photos from the digi camera again.....woo hoo, no more I-phone pics, the card reader on my laptop has been broken for a few months!!

Anyway, the first challenge of 2011 for Passion for Promarkers is here and the DT want to see the theme 'Thank you'.

Our sponser is the fab Letraset

Here is my first card of 2011:

I choose this adorable free Digi image from Motivet, how cute is that puddy cat? Don't tell my doggies I am drooling over a Kitty.......our house is strictly a kitty free zone!!!! The husband is very allergic to certain types of fur, cat hair does something very strange to his eyes!!!!

  • Sentiment: Stampin up Oval All
  • Papers: Basic Grey Green at Heart
  • Tools: SU Oval & scalloped oval punch
  • Embellishments: SU Ribbon, roses Hobbycraft & Stampeezee
  • Coloring: Promarkers, Blender, Warm grey 1, 3, 4 & 5, Plum, orchid, purple, Amethyst, pastel pink, cocoa & caramel

I hope you can join in the challenge, and good luck with the New Years resolutions, I have a few:

  1. Loose weight, we go to Florida in a few months so I need to get into my shorts....LOL
  2. Use all of my image stamps at least once!!! About 90% of my stamps have never seen ink!!!
  3. Post at least once a week on my blog.
  4. Be more organised!! That includes keeping a tidy house....erm craft room and not throwing away lots of gone off food I never got round to cooking. Working full time really does not suit me....LOL
  5. Limit the amount of craft stuff I buy, I really need to use the mountain of patterned papers I already have and use all my dies etc at least once.....I bad!!!!

Anyway enough waffle from me, please leave me a comment so I know you have been, I will pop by and see you in return, I sometimes forget all the fab blogs I really should be perusing, I need a reminder now and again, my memory is awful!!!

Thanks for looking,

Hugs

Passion for Promarkers Blog Hop

WELCOME TO THE PASSION FOR PROMARKERS BLOG HOP!!

Over at Passion for promarkers challenge this week we are celebrating the change of design teams with a blog hop. I’m sure you are as excited as I am as there are lots of lovely goodies up for grabs!! We also have a few new faces on the design team so I hope you will leave them a nice comment to welcome them.

Firstly if you’ve arrived at my blog from Nic's blog you are in the right place, if not return to the challenge blog and start your hop again. Our blog hop challenge will last for 2 weeks so you have plenty of time to enter your card (or cards) and hop around the whole design team.

Our challenge theme for the next two weeks is “old & new” i.e. a brand new stamp/digi with old papers etc. Please can you tell us your old and new items in your post. Don’t forget to use your promarkers or aqua markers to be included in our prize draw.

My card uses on old Magnolia stamp, old Magnolia papers & my new Cuttlebug folder that I think looks like snow. My sentiment is also old, it is from a set by Kelly Panacci but this is the first time I have used it so is that new or old?....LOL

I kept my card really simple , I was having a few issues with embellishment placement. I have used Vintage photo Distress Ink to add a bit of colour to the Papers and added some stickles for sparkles, the silver cord is by Stampin Up.

As you’ve read on the challenge blog the design team are also offering some candy of their own, so please leave me a comment on this post and I will randomly draw a winner for a promarker prize courtesy of Letraset.

You also have a “mystery word” to find and my contribution is the letter “S”. Make a note of my letter and then proceed to the mega talented Sue C for the next part of the hop. If you get lost on the hop at all just return to the challenge blog for full directions.

I just want to let you know the wonderful prizes up for grabs for our blog hop challenge:
Letraset are offering a full set of Aqua Markers to one lucky winner *woohoo*.
