Passion for Promarkers & Friday Sketchers

Happy Tuesday to you all, so glad Monday is over......I hate Monday's & I had a big shift at work............not good!!!!!

Anyway onto this weeks Passion for Promarkers card, which I have to say I am not a happy bunny about, I made it on Sunday (although I had coloured the image a while back), I felt a bit under the weather, headache etc (which I now know was withdrawal symptoms from diet coke........how bad is that???), well I felt a distinct abscence of Mojo whilst putting this together, not one of my best cards!!!

Anyhoo, this weeks challenge was set by our Guest Designer Sam & is Cool Aqua & Apricot with the added challenge to make your own flowers.

The image is a Hanglar & Stanglar from my stamped images I have been sent (don't know her name). She is coloured in Promarkers as follows:

Blush, dusky pink, pastel pink, apricot, pumpkin, cool aqua, cinnamon, cocoa & Sandstone

The paper, ribbon & sentiment are stampin up, my flowers were made with the large & medium retro punches

The layout is Friday Sketchers, i will use this one again.

Hobbycraft celebration candy

You may think i am mad and you are probably right but i am offering a pack of 5 Promarkers to celebrate the opening of Solihull Hobbycraft. This monster Superstore has opened within walking distance from me.............yes within walking distance!!!

I visited yesterday and stocked up on Tulle & flowers & treated myself to a pad of DCWV papers - the Travel stack..............for stroking of course.............although you may see 1 sheet appear on a card...LOL

Happy birthday to my mom

A really swift post this morning as on my way out to work via my moms who's bithday it is today. I was up until all ours finishing this card so I am sooooooooo tired. I will pop back later to finish this post. Hope you all have a great day...........I have a big long shift at work ***sob***

Passion for Promarkers - Anything but a card

This weeks at Passion for Promarkers our guest designer Sarah B has chosen the colours Emerald & Marine with an additional challenge to create 'anything but a card'!!!!

I have a friend at work that is having a tough time at the moment & really needs a bit of fairy magic so I set about making her a post it note holder for her desk, instructions here

I stamped my Ketto image available from the Stampeezee bricks & mortar shop (not online) onto Stampin Up Whisper white card stock layered onto SU Pumkin Pie & Taken with Teal cardstock & coloured with Orange, Emerald, Marine, & Blush Promarkers.

I have added stickles to her hair & a gem to her wand, the flower is Prima

I gave it to my friend yesterday, she was over the moon, I might do some more of these, they would make fab gifts for teachers.
