C4E Sketch Challenge

I am back from Scotland, I had a fab week with the in-laws, my mother-in-law is a crafter so we indulged in a bit, erm a lot of craft retail therapy, but it was my b'day & I was given pennies to spend!!!!! My MIL had also bought stuff to make projects together so we made a few things in her new craft room, including this card!!!!!! This weeks sketch for C4E incudes the option 'Vintage', I struggled with this as I took nothing vintage to Scotland with me at all so I had to make do with what I had & raid my crafty mummy's stash!!!!

The papers are MME Bloom & Grow Asparagus from Stampeezee & the image is Charmed Delectable 'Annie with Ted' another neglected stamp of mine!!!! I coloured her with........erm....Copic Ciao's........no I have not gone to the dark side it's just we had limited space in the car, what with my son in the back & 3 doggies in the boot & was restricted with what stash I could take!!! My MIL kindly allowed me to use them, got to say, I prefer my PM's, it took me ages to get used to the brush tip of the copic pen, I much prefer the bullet tip of the promarker, not to mention trying to get used to the colours!!!!

My background shape was created with a Martha Stewart border punch & my circles cut out with nesties. The sentment is one from my MIL's stash punched out with SU punches, I also raided her lace stash for the pretty bows.

After I had stuck the card together I realised I had not inked my edges but it was all a little late by then.....LOL

Anyway, some fab news, C4E have 2 new DT members, Andie & Suzette, check out the girls blogs as they are super talented.

Sadly there is also bad news from C4E, the lovely Cindy has been involved in a nasty car accident, if anyone would like to send Cindy a card please contact Michelle of C4E for her e-mail address.

Anyway, thanks for looking, please feel free to leave a comment as I love reading them.

Hugs

Sarah
