Passion for Promarkers - One for the boys

Tuesday sure does come around quickly, bringing with it Passion for Promarkers!!

This week it was my turn to choose the challenge and I chose a theme

'One for the boys'

Here is my card:

Yes, I chose to use another Pink cat Studio image, I cannot resist them and when I saw this I just had to have it, don't ya just think those Dino's are the cutest?? It also gave me an excuse to use my new Whimsy balloon stamps and dies....how cool are they?

The close up: Awww, adorable!!

I coloured these cuties with the following Promarkers:

Pastel blue, Pumpkin, Forest Green, Amber, Bright green, Duck egg, Turquoise & blender........don't forget Promarkers are all available individually here at Stampeezee.

I added some faux stitching for interest, the star was created with Stampin Up's star punch and the papers are Imaginisce B-day bash It's a party & suprise, in stock here at Stampeezee

Hope you like my card, pop over to the PFP blog to check out the other cards for the boys, you won't be dissapointed!!!

My eyes are healing well from my Laser eye surgery, they are not getting as tired now so hopefully I will be able to visit everyone soon as I will be able to spend longer on the computer, so I will pop by soon to say hi.

An afternoon with Tim Holtz

Yes, you read that correctly!!!

Yesterday afternoon my lovely friend Debbie from Stampeezee took me along to a Tim Holtz workshop at the NEC in Brirmingham, I had a FANTASTIC time, thank you Debbie!!

I got to use lots of new products and I learned loads of new techniques. We made 3 canvases in 3 hrs, this is the first one and is my favourite.

Just look at that dress form die behind the bird cage.........I need it!!!

This is going in pride of place in my craft room, the man himself even signed it for me, L@@k!!

This was the second one we made, this one was designed and taught by a lady called Dyan Reaveley, such fun to make! We coloured in the bird and the flowers with perfect pearls, i have never used them as paints before so this was a great tip to pick up! Dyan pre-printed the canvas, she had designed it with her new range of stamps.

Not showing you the third one, it didn't quite turn out as it should of....LOL, It was a Whimsical canvas using Claudine Hellmuth stamps and paints, I managed to make it look like a 3 year old had made it....He He!!! Great fun to have a play though!

I didn't want the day to be over, it was fantastic, thanks again Debbie! I also got to see the lovely Marlene, so nice to see you hun.x

You may wanna pop over to the Stampeezee website by the way, Debbie has loads of new godies in, new MME paper pads, more Greeting for Stamps, a new range of stamps called Bildmarlana.....so cute, some Whimsy stamps and Dies, including the sought after Ticket die and 20 colours of seam binding! Lots more goodies on the way to, so pop over and have a nose!

Hope you are having a great weekend.

Passion for Promarkers Coffee & Cream

Hi Bloggers, happy Tuesday to ya, sorry I never posted last week, had a few issues with my laptop power pack!!! I also had Lazer eye surgery on Thursday so I am spec free, woo hoo!! My eyes get tired when I look at the computer screen though so this will be a quick post as I have been at work all day and my eyes are worn out!!

Time for Passion for Promarkers again and this week we want to see the theme 'coffee & creme', my card is a quickie as I made next weeks card before my eye surgery then realised i had missed a week and had to make something last minute, so I am not at all happy with it.

I used a Pink Cat Studio Image, gotta love these cuties!! The sentiment was a freebie from to match the squirrel from Pink Cat.

I coloured Squirrel with my PM's, I have lost my list of colours, I wil try and add it tomorrow if i can find it but in the mean time I need to switch off as the old eyes are needing some rest.

Hope you can join us this week

Thanks for looking, please feel free to leave a comment as I love reading them.

Passion for Promarkers Challenge 85 Inspiration

Hiya Bloggers, Passion for Promarkers time again....Yay!! This week Ida has given us a picture to use for inspiration, first thing I thought of doing was an image with clouds in the background, then I changed my mind and used the colours instead!!!!

Yes, I left my card making until the last minute again, I just don't seem to have any time to play these days, I spend 2-3 hrs a day travelling to and from my FT job so by the time I get home, get the house jobs done etc, the nights are gone!!! I am soooooooo tired!!!

Anyway, enough of my Waffling on, here is my card:

I used a LOTV image I got at the NEC in November, yes it is the first time this one has seen ink, the sentiment is from Stampin Up's Circle of Friendship Set as is the border punch I used. I coloured the image with Promarkers as follows:

Dusky Pink, Blush, Pastel Pink, Denim blue, Pastel blue, sandstone, cocoa, caramel, apple, meadow green, cool grey, 1, 3 & 5, ice grey 1, pastel yellow & blender

I hope you like my card enough to leave a comment

Have a great week, hope you can join in the challenge
