An afternoon with Tim Holtz

Yes, you read that correctly!!!

Yesterday afternoon my lovely friend Debbie from Stampeezee took me along to a Tim Holtz workshop at the NEC in Brirmingham, I had a FANTASTIC time, thank you Debbie!!

I got to use lots of new products and I learned loads of new techniques. We made 3 canvases in 3 hrs, this is the first one and is my favourite.

Just look at that dress form die behind the bird cage.........I need it!!!

This is going in pride of place in my craft room, the man himself even signed it for me, L@@k!!

This was the second one we made, this one was designed and taught by a lady called Dyan Reaveley, such fun to make! We coloured in the bird and the flowers with perfect pearls, i have never used them as paints before so this was a great tip to pick up! Dyan pre-printed the canvas, she had designed it with her new range of stamps.

Not showing you the third one, it didn't quite turn out as it should of....LOL, It was a Whimsical canvas using Claudine Hellmuth stamps and paints, I managed to make it look like a 3 year old had made it....He He!!! Great fun to have a play though!

I didn't want the day to be over, it was fantastic, thanks again Debbie! I also got to see the lovely Marlene, so nice to see you hun.x

You may wanna pop over to the Stampeezee website by the way, Debbie has loads of new godies in, new MME paper pads, more Greeting for Stamps, a new range of stamps called Bildmarlana.....so cute, some Whimsy stamps and Dies, including the sought after Ticket die and 20 colours of seam binding! Lots more goodies on the way to, so pop over and have a nose!

Hope you are having a great weekend.

Hugs

Sarah
