C4E Sketch challenge 34 & CCT #62

The super talented Michelle of C4E has done it again this week with another super sketch for us all to follow, there is also an the option to use purple/lilac on the card so I had no choice but to drag out my favourite Basic Grey Wisteria DP and as always Stampin Up had the perfect cardstock to co-ordinate with it so i chose Perfect Plum & So Saffron.

The image is Geisha Girl Anya by The Greeting Farm sent to me by my Blogging pal Andie (thanks Hunni), she has been stamped onto SU Whisper white card with Black Impress Ink & coloured with promarker as follows:
  • Face: Ivory, Blush & Dusky Pink
  • Hair: Warm grey 1,2 & 3
  • Clothes & Hair flower: Primrose, Pastel Yellow, Aubergine, Amethyst & Lilac, pastel blue & Cornflower.
  • I outlined her in Pastel blue
Her hair flower is decorated with purple Stickles & finished off with a purple bling dot from stash and the CCT theme this week is 'Bling' so i have entered the card into that challenge to.

The flowers are Prima and their centres are from my stash, the sentiment is Inkadinkado stamped with SU Elegant Eggplant.
I cut out my large circle with my Cricut and Plantin Schoolbook cartridge & Anya was cut out with my Rectangle nesties and Cuttlebug.

Well the sun is shining here so I am off out into my garden to help my son who is trying to make our overgrown garden look pretty.........why did I let all those weeds grow!!!!!!!!

Have a great day & don't forget to leave a comment to let me know you stopped by as I love reading them.

Passion for Promarkers challenge anything goes

So sorry about the delay in posting this, I have been at work all day and I scheduled this to post at 9am and it never worked.....................why I don't know, them i have had to re-create the post as It would not allow me to take the schedule of it!!!!!! Anyway I got there in the end!!!!!

Yay it's here, the day us promarker fans have all been waiting for......the launch day of the new Passion for Promarkers Blog and all you need to do to enter and be in with a chance of winning the fab prizes on offer is to use just 1 promarker on your card. You cannot combine on this first challenge though but you can from challenges that follow.

For my card I have used summer cool strawberry sorbet DP by Imaginisce and a Miss Anya stamp all available from here, the sentiment is Stampin Up from the One of a Kind set and the card & ribbon are Tempting Turquiose also by SU.....all available from me.

The flowers were punched out of co-ordinating cardstock & DP and i inked and curled the edges, I then finished them with bling dots available in loads of different colours from Stampeezee.

The image was stamped on to SU Whisper white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo black ink & coloured with promarkers as follows:
  • Skin: Ivory & Blush
  • Hair: Sandstone, Cinnamon, cocoa & Burnt umber
  • Dress: carmine, Rose pink, Blossom & Cornflower
  • Flowers: Pastel Yellow, yellow, Grass, Forest green
  • Basket: cinnamon, cocoa & Burnt umber
  • I went around the image with Pastel blue
I do hope you can play along with us....the prizes are well worth it.

My Crafting Space

At long last here they are, the pictures of my crafting space. A few months ago, I posted a question on ILWS asking how people stored their craft items, I got a great response and loads of ideas and from there my craft room got a revamp thanks to my lovely hubby.

The pic above shows my tidy desk (no it's not this tidy really, I moved everything for the photo, normally there is no room to work....LOL).

Pic below shows my SU area, as you can see my colour caddy is a little bare, everytime I place an order I get an ink pad or 2!!! My lovely hubby and his dad created the shelving that hold all 4 SU colour familes, at the bottom of each section is a spare shelf that I use to put white, cream etc.........i really love this idea....thanks Monica (passionflower).

In the 3 big boxes live my SU stamp sets (in no particular order)..............no they are not all full yet but I am working on it.....LOL!!!

In the little boxes lives, SU ribbons, stampin spots, brads and accesories.

This unit houses all my un mounted no SU stamps, magazines, other ribbon, brads, accessories, nesties, flowers etc. In the top right you can se 4 grey wallets...............in each of those lives my lush promarkers.....think I need to move them closer to my desk though!!!
The pic below shows some of my wooden stamps.................most have never seen ink but then neither have most of my SU stamps and unmounted ones..............shock horror.......yes I know I am working on it!!!!

On the surface below the shelf you can see my cricut expression, cuttlebug and my purple cow cutter......love that cutter.

You may not be able to see that well but the cubes below I keep my unused sewing machine, xyron machine, die's and embossing folders and scrapbooking papers, the boxes just have printer cartridges in and gifts for 3D items.

The pick below just shoes the angle behind desk, you can see a box on the floor, this contains non SU paper I am trying to use up but I can't stop turning to SU as everything matches!!!! Think that box will be there forever!!!!!

Below, a close up of my flowers, brad and embelishment storage

And finally my punch storage...........utensil rails from Ikea......need more as full and I have a box full of other punches in the big storage unit!!!!

I have a few adjustments to make to the room as still need to sort out ribbon storage and move things about so they are more accessible. I also need to label some of the boxes but If I had waited till I had done all that these pictures would never have got posted!!!

Anyway, hope you like it, thanks for looking, please feel free to leave a comment as I love reading them.

C4E Sketch Challenge #33 & Spoonful of Sugar #52

Quick put your sunglasses on, I have finally used my Black market Paper society Rhythm paper i got from Stampeezee for this weeks C4E sketch challenge, it's a bit on the loud side for me I think!!!

The card also qualifies for the celebration challenge over at a Spoonfull of Sugar, it's their birthday this week so big celebrations of on that blog.......congrats!!!!

The little hunni on the front of the card is Diva Lexi, a digital image from the Teen collection available from Crafts 4 Eternity, designed by the talented owner Michelle, click here to have a look at the collection. I coloured her in with my Promarkers of course, don't forget to check out the new Promarker challenge blog here

I thought she looked a bit of a tomboy so I avoided flowers and ribbon. I also decided to have a go with my Tim Holtz paper distresser that I have had a while and not used............think I went a bit OTT, it's a great little gadget, it has made the paper look like cloth.

The sentiment is by Penny Black, I seem to use it a lot.....if you haven't already noticed!!!! I punched it out with the large SU circle punch and the little distressed circle embellishments were punched out with various sized SU punches, distressed and layered and finished off with buttons and SU linen thread.

Thanks for looking, please feel free to leave a comment as I love reading them.
